Indonesia offers Indians three tourist routes and they ask for different papers. The visa on arrival (B1) needs only two, shown to the officer when you land. The 60-day single entry (C1) and the multi-entry visa (D1) are applied for online and want proof of funds. Pick your route below and the pack changes to match.
Quick answer: Indonesia visa applications from India vary by situation — pick yours below and the list changes. Everyone brings:

Requirements change with visa type and consulate — confirm the official checklist before you apply.
Three tourist routes, and the paperwork is the difference between them. Visa on arrival: 30 days, extendable once by another 30, Rp500,000, and the visa itself stays valid 90 days. Single entry: 60 days, extendable, IDR 1,000,000. Multiple entry: 60 days per visit, IDR 10,000,000 for five years.

The visa on arrival is not an application. You show two documents to the immigration officer when you land; there is nothing to upload and nothing to file in advance.

What Indonesia checks
Six months' passport validity for every route. If you travel on an emergency passport or another document that is not an ordinary passport, Indonesia asks for twelve.
US$2,000, and Indonesia is unusual in publishing the number. The single entry asks to see it as a personal bank statement over the last three months; the multiple entry as proof of living expenses. Nothing of the kind is stated for the visa on arrival.

🔴 Things Indonesia does NOT ask a tourist for, whichever of the three routes you take:
Proof of accommodation. The immigration department does not ask for a hotel booking.
The same line runs through all three: you may not make money here. No selling goods or services, no wages from anyone in Indonesia, and on the single entry not even speaking at an event. Overstaying or breaking the conditions can mean a fine or deportation.

Each section names its source underneath it. Where a line came from the agent channel rather than the authority, or from a single filing, it says so on that line — those are not the same kind of fact and this page does not blur them.
Frequently asked questions
Indonesia visa from India — what documents are needed?
It depends which of the three tourist visas you take, and the difference is large. The visa on arrival asks for two documents and you show them to the officer when you land. The 60-day single entry asks for three, uploaded before you travel. The multiple-entry visa asks for six. Pick your route above and the list changes to match it. Requirements change with visa type, so confirm on the immigration department's own page.
Indonesia visa — where do I apply?
The visa on arrival is not applied for at all — you buy it when you land, which is why its list is so short. The 60-day single entry and the multiple-entry visa are applied for online at evisa.imigrasi.go.id before you fly. Requirements change, so always confirm the official checklist for your visa type.
Can I print my visa documents from here?
Yes — print any document individually, print the whole set as one PDF, or print a blank checklist to tick off. Photos are excluded from printing because they are for online uploads, and on the visa-on-arrival route there is no photo to print in the first place: that pack is for the immigration counter, not for a form.
Are my documents uploaded anywhere?
No. The checks, the merged PDF, the ZIP and printing all happen in your browser. Your passport and bank statements are never sent to any server.
A PDF was skipped when building.
Password-protected PDFs (like some bank statements) are no longer skipped — the pack asks for the password while it builds. A file is only skipped if the password was not given.
