Why share a masked Aadhaar
UIDAI and RBI recommend sharing a masked Aadhaar — where only the last 4 digits are visible — whenever full identification isn't required, such as for hotel check-ins, KYC drop-offs, or photocopies. Masking the first 8 digits greatly reduces the risk of misuse. This tool lets you black out those digits on any Aadhaar copy you already have, without uploading anything.
