How do I compress an image to 100 KB?
Choose "Target file size", enter 100, and click compress — the tool lowers the JPEG quality just enough to bring the file under 100 KB while staying as sharp as possible.
How do I compress a JPEG to 200 KB or 50 KB?
Set the target file size to the KB you need. If a very small target won't fit at full size, also reduce the max width.
Will compressing reduce quality?
Target-size mode keeps quality as high as the limit allows. Quality mode lets you choose the level and previews the resulting size as you drag.
Does it work for PNG?
