Sign a PDF without printing it

You've been sent a form or agreement as a PDF and asked to sign and return it — no need to print, sign and scan. This tool lets you draw your signature with your finger or mouse (or upload a photo of it), drag it exactly where it should go on the page, size it, and download the signed PDF. You can sign more than one page. Everything happens in your browser, so your document and signature are never uploaded.

One honest note: this places an image of your signature on the page (an e-signature). It is not a cryptographic digital signature or a legally certified e-sign service — for those, use an authorised provider.

How to sign a PDF

  1. Choose your PDF.
  2. Draw your signature or upload an image of it.
  3. Drag it onto the page, set the size, click Stamp on this page (repeat on other pages if needed), then Download signed PDF.

Frequently asked questions

Can I draw my signature or upload one?

Both — draw it in the box with your finger/mouse, or upload an image. A PNG with a transparent background looks cleanest.

Can I sign more than one page?

Yes — place and stamp on one page, move to another page and stamp again, then download once.

Is this a legal digital signature?

It places an image of your signature (an e-signature). It's not a certified cryptographic e-sign — use an authorised provider if you need that.

Is my PDF uploaded?

No — the PDF and your signature are handled entirely in your browser and never sent to a server.
