Rotate a PDF and keep it that way

Phone scans and photocopies come out sideways all the time, and a page scanned the wrong way round arrives upside down. This rotates the pages inside the PDF itself — so the file opens the right way up for whoever you send it to, not just on your screen. Existing rotation is respected, so turning a page that's already sideways does what you'd expect.

Who uses this tool

Anyone fixing a scanned agreement, marksheet or bank statement before uploading it to a portal, and students straightening pages of a scanned assignment.

How to rotate a PDF

  1. Choose your PDF.
  2. Pick the direction, and type which pages — all, or something like 1, 3, 5-8.
  3. Click Rotate & download.

Frequently asked questions

My PDF is upside down — how do I fix it?

Choose 180° (upside down) and rotate. That flips every page the right way up, and the change is written into the file itself, so it stays fixed for whoever opens it next.

How do I rotate only some pages of a PDF?

Type the page numbers in the "Which pages" box — for example 1, 3, 5-8. Leave it as "all" to rotate every page.

Does the rotation stay when I send the file?

Yes. The rotation is written into the PDF itself, so it opens the right way up for everyone — unlike simply turning the view in a reader.

Can it rotate a password-protected PDF?

Yes. Add it like any other PDF and ToolGalli will ask for the password right here, then carry on. The password is used in your browser and never sent anywhere.

Is my PDF uploaded?

No. The file is rewritten inside your browser and never sent to any server.
