How does a quarterly rent receipt work?
Each receipt covers three months and states the combined amount (monthly rent × 3) with the period, e.g. "₹54,000 towards rent for the period April 2026 to June 2026 (3 months)". Many employers accept quarterly receipts for HRA; check your HR policy.
