Add Name & Date on a Photo

🔒 Printed in your browser — your photo is never uploaded

Some commissions — Kerala PSC among them — want your name and the date the photo was taken printed on the photograph itself. Add them here, then download at the exact size your form needs.

Name and date printed on the photograph

Some Indian recruitment portals will not accept a bare passport photo. Kerala PSC tells a candidate creating a profile to upload a photograph taken within 6 months, with the name of the candidate and the date of the photograph printed legibly at the bottom; that photograph then stays valid for 10 years. Where your notice asks for the same, a photo without them can be rejected — usually on the last day.

SSC is the other way round. Its 2026 notices capture the photograph live inside the application module, and an application that uploads a photograph of a photograph is rejected. Do not use this tool for an SSC form.

This tool prints both onto the image, shows you a live preview, and can resize the result to the exact pixel dimensions and KB limit your portal demands — all inside your browser, so your photo is never uploaded.

Who uses this tool

Applicants to any commission, exam or department whose notice asks for the name and the photo date to be printed on the photograph — Kerala PSC among them.

How to use it

  1. Upload your passport-style photo.
  2. Type your name exactly as on the form, and pick the date the photo was taken.
  3. Optionally set the pixel size and KB limit from your exam notice, then download.

Need the photo itself checked — face size, background, sharpness? Use the Photo Checker first, then print the name and date here.

Frequently asked questions

Which commissions want the name and date on the photo?

Kerala PSC asks for it on the photograph a new profile uploads — the name and the date of the photograph, printed legibly at the bottom. Other bodies ask for the same in their own notices, so check yours. SSC does not: it captures the photograph live in the application module.

What date should I put?

The date the photo was actually taken. Check your notice — it usually also says how recent the photo must be.

Can I set the exact pixel and KB size?

Yes — enter the width, height and KB limit from your notice and the download matches them.

Is my photo uploaded?

No. The text is drawn onto the image in your browser; the photo never leaves your device.
